important to remember to tailor your resume for each application to highlight industry specific

employer, and focuses on two to three main reasons why you’re a good fit for a position.
For your cover letter, remember to submit one whether or not there is a job posting
and keep it to one page. You also want to highlight the major achievements that will

platforms to evaluate and screen prospective job candidates. Over ninety percent of recruiters are
using social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook to evaluate candidates
even before they come in for an interview. As a job candidate, consider setting up a professional
presence on social media sites, such as LinkedIn. Start to keep in mind what you are posting
